RICHMOND, Va. – It’s been a while since my last travel update, but fear not. I will be visiting numerous new cities across North America this year and will be sharing my experiences with you all along the way.

For those of you who don’t know, I am the Communications Manager for Lansing Ignite FC (LIFC), a new professional soccer team based in Lansing, Michigan. I moved to the city in early January to begin work with the team.

You read that right. I moved from Tampa, Florida, to Michigan in the middle of winter. Am I crazy? Maybe.

One of the many reasons why I chose to join LIFC, however, is that I have the opportunity to travel with the team for its away games. This weekend, I’m in Richmond, Virginia, as LIFC takes on the Richmond Kickers in the team’s first game of the year.

In addition to Richmond, I’ll be visiting eight different cities across North America from March to October. The cities are: Greenville (South Carolina), Chattanooga (Tennessee), Statesboro (Georgia), Orlando (Florida), Dallas (Texas), Tucson (Arizona), Toronto (Ontario) and Madison (Wisconsin).
