Tampa, Florida — With the new year comes a new identity. The Orange Traveler officially has a new logo.

The black-and-orange globe many readers and followers have grown accustomed to since the website’s launch in 2015 has left and been replaced with a distinct logo that expresses exactly what this site is about.

“Knowing Aaron’s passion for traveling, the logo needed represent that,” Lisa Durand, Graphic Designer, told The Orange Traveler. “I decided to use the shape of the lower case ‘t’ to represent an airplane and the circular shape of the ‘o’ as a looping track for the plane, signifying The Orange Traveler‘s continuous adventures. The ‘o’ and ‘t’ letters also create a personal brand image that works on its own.

“Lastly, of course the color orange was incorporated, but I didn’t want it to be overpowering, so it was just used for the word ‘Orange.’ The final result, I think, will also lend itself well for animation, especially the circular motion of the orange loop.”

With the new look, followers of The Orange Traveler can expect more content in 2018. Readers can follow The Orange Traveler on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for live updates and useful travel information, but they can also expect at least one article per week on this website. In addition to written content, I will also be publishing at least one video per month on YouTube, so be sure to subscribe.

The year is shaping up to be a fun one, as The Orange Traveler will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan, so stay tuned.
